The Collector Behind the Collection
A tin box that helped a father recover.
Mr. Ram Kumar Tolani built a global company across six continents and founded Goodwill in 1999. After a stroke, his recovery began when Dr. Sanjay, himself a lifelong numismatist, found a small tin of the coins Ram had collected as a boy in Indore, and the family began placing rare coins and notes before him, one by one.
What started as therapy became a mission, and grew into one of the world's foremost private collections. Today Mr. Tolani chairs the Tolani Family Office Board.
